Oregon offers a wide network of state park campgrounds spread from the Pacific coast to the high desert, many with full hook-ups for motorhomes and level pitches for campervans. Coastal parks provide ocean-side spots with hot showers and flush toilets, while inland sites near Oregon's lakes and forests often include fire rings and dump stations. Most state parks accept reservations up to nine months in advance, so planning ahead is worthwhile during summer.
Oregon has no toll roads, so you can travel the entire state without paying highway fees. Interstate 5 runs north to south through the Willamette Valley, while Interstate 84 follows the Columbia River Gorge eastward. Speed limits for motorhomes and larger vehicles are generally 90 km/h on motorways and 80 km/h on rural highways. Mountain passes such as Santiam Pass on Highway 20 are well maintained but may require chains in winter. Rest areas with free overnight parking are available along major routes, though signage varies. Larger motorhomes should note height and weight restrictions on some coastal bridges and older tunnels along Highway 101.
We picked up the van without any issues. The van matched the description and pictures and was very nicely decorated. The owners were lovely and even let our dog play with theirs whilst we unpacked our stuff into the van. We spent 2 weeks in the van and had no issues. It was the perfect size for 2 people and a dog. There was no issues dropping the van off after our trip. We would definitely recommend!

100% recommend. Such a kind and welcoming family. Everything was explained in detail when we arrived so we understood how everything worked onboard. The RV itself is stunning and has everything you need included. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 4) that spent 2 weeks traveling through northern Spain. Plenty of sleeping space, kitchen was large enough to prepare meals indoors if need be. The engine was powerful enough through the mountains and the size of the RV we had no problems navigating the narrow mountain roads and town. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We had the best trip with the van "Fiona" we rented by Cuca - the most amazing host. There was no problems with the van, and it was driving great for an old car. The van also had everything we needed like a portabel shower, a sink with running water, a cooler and a much needed parasol. Cuca recommended the best beaches and places, and responded quickly to any questions we had. We cant recommend Cuca and the van enough!
