Where to park your motorhome

Central Madrid operates a low-emission zone called Madrid 360, which restricts access for larger vehicles. It is best to park on supervised lots on the outskirts and take the Metro into the centre. Overnight stays in a motorhome on public roads are not permitted, but designated areas on the city fringe do allow it. Watch out for height restrictions in underground car parks, which are often too low for campervans.

  • Parking Príncipe Pío, 2km west — Central car park at Príncipe Pío station with access to Metro and Cercanías trains. Check height limits — suitable for smaller campervans, not tall motorhomes.
  • Parking Feria de Madrid (IFEMA), 9km northeast — Spacious car park at the IFEMA exhibition centre with plenty of room for larger vehicles. Feria de Madrid Metro station is directly connected. Ideal as a base for city visits.
