From sleek A-class models to versatile coachbuilts and low-profiles, there’s a motorhome for every adventure—whether you need a compact getaway for two or a spacious multi-berth for the whole family.
The campervan is the ultimate all-rounder. Effortlessly practical and built for freedom, it’s just as at home navigating tight city streets as it is exploring the heart of the countryside.
Brussels' Atomium has towered 102 metres over the city since 1958, a leftover from the World Expo that became one of Europe's most recognisable landmarks. The Belgian capital blends Art Nouveau architecture with a forward-looking cultural scene, and getting around by campervan lets you set your own pace. Stroll through the Grand-Place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site framed by gilded guild houses, then head to the Magritte Museum to explore the world's largest collection of the surrealist painter's work. The Royal Palace of Brussels opens its doors each summer, while the Parc du Cinquantenaire offers green space and three museums under one triumphal arch. Bruges sits just 97 km to the north-west, and the university city of Leuven is only 26 km to the east — both make for easy day trips. Brussels is compact, yet its ring road and well-signed motorways make it straightforward to navigate in a motorhome. Beyond the centre, leafy suburbs give way to the rolling Brabant countryside, ideal for overnight stops. With Yescapa, you can hire a vehicle directly from a local owner, which often means flexible pick-up points across the city and personalised tips on where to go. Whether you are planning a weekend city break or using Brussels as a launchpad for a longer European tour, a campervan from a fellow traveller is a great way to start.
Brussels welcomes visitors year-round, but late spring through early autumn is especially rewarding for campervan travel. The Ommegang pageant in July recreates a Renaissance procession through the Grand-Place, while the Brussels Summer Festival fills August with open-air concerts across the city. Campsite availability is best when you book ahead for the June-to-September window, the most popular period. Outside peak months, autumn brings the Belgian Beer Weekend in September and quieter roads. With Yescapa, peer-to-peer pricing often makes shoulder-season hire even more affordable, so consider a spring or early-autumn trip for a relaxed Brussels experience.
Brussels is the perfect base for exploring the region by motorhome or campervan. Here are our 6 must-see getaways
Head 20 km south to the Butte du Lion at Waterloo, where the 1815 battlefield stretches across open farmland. Continue to the Abbaye de Villers-la-Ville, a striking 12th-century ruin set in wooded grounds. Campervan parking is available near the memorial site, and the quiet country roads make for easy driving.
Leuven is just 26 km east, home to the ornate 15th-century Town Hall and the lively Oude Markt. From there, explore the Hageland wine region, where gentle hills and cycle paths wind through vineyards around Hoegaarden. Several farms offer motorhome-friendly overnight spots, and the area is ideal for a relaxed short break.
Drive 97 km north-west to Bruges and park near the edge of the medieval centre. Walk to the Belfry of Bruges for panoramic views, then visit the Groeningemuseum for Flemish Primitives. On the way, stop in Ghent to see Sint-Baafskathedraal and the Gravensteen castle. Campervan spaces fill quickly in summer, so arrive early.
Follow the E411 for 65 km to Namur, where the Citadelle overlooks the confluence of the Sambre and Meuse rivers. Continue south-east along the Meuse to Dinant, famous for its cliff-side collegiate church and saxophone heritage. The valley roads are well-suited to motorhome travel, with riverside campsites dotted along the route.
Head 210 km south-east into the Ardennes, starting with the fortress town of Bouillon and its medieval castle perched above the Semois river. Continue to La Roche-en-Ardenne for kayaking and forest walks, then loop through Bastogne and its WWII memorial. Winding forest roads require steady driving, but campsites with full hook-ups are plentiful.
Cover 220 km south to Luxembourg City, where the Bock Casemates tunnel network is a UNESCO site. Cross into the Moselle Valley to visit Remich and its riverside wine cellars. On the return leg, stop at Orval Abbey near Florenville for Trappist beer and tranquil grounds. Dedicated campervan aires along the Moselle make overnight stops simple.

Brussels itself has limited campsite options within the city limits, but the surrounding Brabant countryside offers a good selection for both campervan and motorhome travellers. You will find sites with full hook-ups, modern shower blocks, and spacious pitches just a short drive from the centre. Several are well connected to public transport, so you can leave your vehicle and explore Brussels on foot or by tram.
Parking a motorhome or campervan in central Brussels requires some planning, as many streets have height or length restrictions. Overnight parking on public roads is generally tolerated outside controlled zones, but always check local signage. The city's park-and-ride facilities on the outskirts offer a practical alternative — park up and take the metro into the centre. Several dedicated areas welcome larger vehicles and provide a safe base for exploring.
Sofia and Joaqim were really lovely! We enjoyed our trip a lot. The van was clean and had everything that was listed. We had no troubles with anything, it was super easy, convenient and cosy place to stay. We can honestly recommend it. 🥰❤️
It was our first time traveling with a camper, and renting this one for our trip around Mallorca turned out to be an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations. The camper was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped, which made our first camper trip easy and enjoyable. Communication with Gustavo was excellent from start to finish. He always responded very quickly, was friendly and helpful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He also shared some fantastic recommendations for places to visit and park around the island, which made our trip even better. We couldn't have asked for a better first camper experience and would highly recommend both the camper and Gustavo to anyone planning a trip to Mallorca. We would happily rent it again in the future!
It was perfect. The owner is a very nice guy who picked us up from Funchal to get to Machico and explained everything about the car. The car included everything that was needed for our roadtrip. The tent is spacious and the amenities were of good quality. Overall it was an amazing experience to enjoy the island this way!
Great communication from Gladys and great van! Thanks for making our trip seamless!
Nice car, friendly and helpful people
