What you need to know about roads and motorways in Zeeland

Zeeland's motorways are toll-free, including the A58 connecting the province to the rest of the Netherlands and the Westerscheldetunnel linking Zuid-Beveland to Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, which does charge a toll of around €5 per single crossing for motorhomes. Speed limits on Dutch motorways are 100 km/h during the day and 120 km/h at night for cars, but vehicles over 3,500 kg are limited to 80 km/h on all roads. Most of Zeeland's routes are two-lane provincial roads running along dykes, with regular laybys and well-signed service points. Larger motorhomes should note height restrictions at some older tunnels and bridges on secondary roads.

Our experience with Ivan and Tamara was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and supported us with many things throughout our trip.
