Quebec's autoroutes are toll-free, making long-distance motorhome travel straightforward and budget-friendly. The speed limit on autoroutes is generally 100 km/h, though drivers of larger motorhomes should watch for posted advisories on steep grades, particularly along the A-20 and A-73. Provincial highways (routes nationales) typically have limits of 80–90 km/h. Rest areas with picnic tables and washrooms appear regularly on major corridors. Winter tyre regulations apply from 1 December to 15 March, so plan accordingly if you travel outside summer. Fuel stations are plentiful in southern Quebec but can be spaced further apart on the Côte-Nord and in Gaspésie, so top up when you can.
