New South Wales has an extensive motorway network, and most major routes are toll-free outside the Sydney metropolitan area. Within Sydney, electronic tolling applies on roads like the M2, M5, and the Sydney Harbour Tunnel — you will need an e-tag or pass, which can be arranged online before your trip. The general speed limit on open highways is 110 km/h, though vehicles over 4.5 tonnes are restricted to 100 km/h. Rest areas with free overnight parking are well signposted along the Pacific Highway and the Princes Highway, making long-distance motorhome travel straightforward. Be aware that some mountain passes in the Snowy Mountains region may require snow chains in winter.

They’re so lovely and kind, and they made us feel like we’ve been friends for ages, even before meeting them in person! The Snoopy van has met every single expectation. We loved everything about it, and felt a bit sad on the last day as we were leaving. Thanks to Pedro’s suggestions it has been very easy to use! Watching the video beforehand has definitely been helpful, and made the entire process smoother. The van is extremely well equipped and it had everything we needed and more. The bed is super comfortable. All the features, including the bathroom were clean and easy to use! The van itself is easy to drive and comfortable. Choosing this van for our coastal road trip made the experience so much more enjoyable and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
