Termoli's old town, perched on a promontory above the sea, is home to the Castello Svevo, a 13th-century fortress built by Frederick II. The archaeological site of Saepinum, near Sepino, preserves a remarkably intact Roman town complete with forum, theatre and city walls. Further south, the Matese Regional Park offers lakes, beech forests and trails around Lago del Matese at over 1,000 metres altitude. Molise offers a mix of coastal, rural and mountain camping options for both campervan and motorhome travellers. Along the Adriatic coast, sites near Termoli and Campomarino Lido provide pitches with sea views and full hook-ups. Inland, you will find quieter agriturismi and dedicated motorhome service areas near towns like Isernia and in the foothills of the Matese and Mainarde parks. Most sites offer electricity, water, waste disposal and shower facilities.
Molise's main motorway is the A14 Adriatica, which runs along the coast near Termoli and connects to the wider Italian toll network. Tolls are paid at booths by cash, card or Telepass device. Inland, the road network relies on well-maintained state roads (strade statali) such as the SS17 and SS650, which wind through hilly terrain. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes are 100 km/h on motorways and 80 km/h on main roads outside built-up areas. Mountain roads in the Mainarde and Matese areas have occasional tight bends, so allow extra time if driving a larger vehicle.

We had a wonderful experience travelling around Slovenia for a week in this beautiful camper. The owner, Tea was exceptionally accomodating and helpful, and provided us with all of the information and amenities that we needed for our trip. The van had everything we needed and was perfect for the type of trip we wanted. It is spacious, with plenty of storage room as well as somewhere to cook, pots and pans, crockery and a sink. We had no issues with the van for the duration of our trip and would highly recommend this van to anyone who is looking to do some exploring in the area.
