What you need to know about roads and motorways in Gelderland

Gelderland's motorways are toll-free, so you can travel freely across the province without extra costs. The A1, A12, A28, and A50 form the main network connecting Arnhem, Nijmegen, Apeldoorn, and Zutphen. The national speed limit on motorways is 100 km/h, which also applies to motorhomes under 3,500 kg. Vehicles over 3,500 kg are limited to 80 km/h on all roads. Rest areas with facilities for larger vehicles are well signposted along major routes. Be aware that some smaller roads through the Veluwe have height or weight restrictions to protect nature reserves.

Daniel was very professional, explained all aspects of how the van and its accessories and furnishings functioned. Provided sheets, blankets, curtains and window coverings, and even coffee and tea! He was kind and helped me fill the tank at the end when my credit card didn’t work took us to a different station without complaining. We had no issues with the van but he was available by phone at any time if we would have needed him. It was a fantastic trip and we loved the camper van.

We booked the van for our time on Crete and had a really beautiful trip :) We explored the south of the island and loved every moment of it.
