What are the different kilometre options?

For instance, for a 3 day rental:

  • The 100 km/day package is the most common one, it allows the renter to drive for a total of 300 km
  • The 200 km/day package available at an additional cost, allows the renter to drive for a total of 600 km in 3 days
  • The unlimited-kilometre package, also available at an additional cost, will allow the renter to drive for as many kilometres as he wants without the risk of paying any extra fees.

Generally, you can come to an agreement with the renter on the number of kilometres included in the rental. You will only have to make a note of it on the rental contract that you will sign with them.
If the renter exceeds the number of kilometres included in the rental (in average £0,20/additional kilometres), the extra km will be paid in cash at the end of the rental.

This means that for a standard 3-day rental (300 km total), if the renter happens to drive 400 kilometres, they should pay you: (400-300)*0,20 = £20.
