Nicolas's Large campervan

His name is 'Boxi' because he's a Peugeot Boxer and we first saw him at Boxhagener Platz!

We fully renovated it in 2024/2025. He may have a few kilometers on the clock, but since he was first registered, all the major engine parts have been replaced — so in the end, it runs perfectly. We even did a full tour of France from Berlin in 2024, covering over 5,000 km without any issues. The gearbox was replaced in 2024. Top speed: 130 km/h.

He’s easy to drive — the only thing to keep in mind is the 3-meter height!

Inside, the photos speak for themselves. We carried out careful renovations with the help of a carpenter friend:

• The bed is very comfortable, and it’s a real pleasure to have windows on both sides to admire nature when waking up from a good nap or while reading a book.

• The lower part is equally pleasant and cozy, whether in bed mode or set up as a bench with a table.

Available equipment:

• Solar panels + 2 batteries providing several days of autonomy without the fridge, or 24–48 hours with the fridge on.

• Several USB ports and 2 standard 220V power outlets (+ power socket when you stay in a campsite)

• All necessary equipment for cooking and preparing nice meals.

• Butagaz 2-burner stove, also usable outdoors.

• 2 camping chairs + 2 tables + awning + string lights for lovely evenings outside.

A few existing issues:

• The fridge works on electricity but not on gas. We’re still trying to fix that to significantly increase off-grid autonomy.

• The freezer compartment door is a bit broken (but it still works fine).

• There’s no indoor shower or bathroom, just the kitchen sink with 20L of fresh water and a greywater tank. However, we do have a dry toilet.

• The car radio doesn’t work, so you’ll need to use a portable speaker.
