Monica and Javier are nice people to meet. Everything was according to agreement. We made a nice tour through Spain and Portugal but unfortunately the weather was not the best for us, there was a lot of rain, but regardless we had a wonderful time traveling. The camper is fully equipped, with all the needs like at home. The camper is technically in very good condition, with a good engine and good tires. Unfortunately, we had close contact with a tree branch in the camp, which is not to be expected, so there was minor damage. In contact with Monica, I see that she is trying to get the repair done at the lowest price, and I thank her for that.

It was quite easy with the client support always available within 24 hours.

We (a family of 4 from Sweden. Kids are 5 and 10.) rented the vehicle for 6 days from Joaquim and during those days we tried to see as much from Portugal as possible. Joaquim was so kind that he picked us up from Porto Airport and we made the paperwork in a nearby gas station, which was very convenient for us. Unfortunately I did not speak any of the languages that Joaquim spoke and he did not master my selection of languages, but this did not mean any problem in communication between us as he came with a friend who spoke English and Google Translate worked just fine. He also had a detailed instruction material in the campervan in English about the van. Paperwork, deposit, introduction, everything went according to plan and as it should go. Fresh towels and sheets were already in the campervan. I did not encounter any serious technical difficulties about the campervan during our trip, however if you are planning to go off the main roads in the Douro Valley, you might feel that the van lacks a couple of horsepower while climbing in a higher gear, but it might be the case for all campervans in that area. After all, it is not military SUV. On the highway it goes very smooth but if you want to save diesel, I do not recommend to go faster than 95. Again, it is a campervan with huge air resistance. Joaquim left a pretty big GPS in the van, which we did not use. However we asked for a kid seat that he could fetch without charging extra. The van is equipped with a Via Verde reading machine that allows you to go through all the highway toll gates without paying on the spot. However, the bill will be sent to Joaquim at the end of the month who will pay it and that is why he withholds 200 Euros from your deposit in case you return the van to him intact. If you are on budget, try to avoid highways in Portugal. The most expensive fees I have seen so far are in Portugal and I have been driving in a couple of countries before. For example from Faro to Porto you will pay over 80 Euros (Just one way!) with a campervan. During these days we managed to see some of Porto - the Douro Valley (It is magic!) - Peso de Régua - Coimbra - Batalha - Názaré - Obidos (It is a MUST!) - Lisboa - Benagil Caves - Faro. To find conveinient parking spots, we used the park4night app. All in all, I would definitely rent Joaquim’s campervan again. 5/5!If you have more questions about our trip, contact me on himgyu@yahoo.com

Rafaela and Catia provided us with the perfect travel companion for our trip in Portugal! Always reliable and ready to assist us with every doubt we had they performed a magnificent work with this caravan transforming it in a compact but effective way for travelling.Driving this caravan was a pleasure and its modest size but sturdy build allowed us to cruise throughout the whole country without ever fearing any road!highly recommended for a two people trip in total freedom!

I couldn't imagine nicer, more helpful and easy going owner. I 100% recommend to use his services! The camper was in excelent condition, well maintained and ready to use. It is equiped with many facilities like hot water, battery (powered also by solar panels on the roof), towels and sheets. Set up inside is also fantastic and well thought. Due to the nature of the car (DYI camper) the space in bed is quite limited so consider it as comfortable for max 3 people if you are over 1.85cm.

Very lovely owners, super helpful and kind! Caravan was in lovely condition, worked well with no issues during our trip! Highly recommend!

We (me and my girlfriend) had a great time in this beautiful van. It was very cosy and homely. It was also very practical, we had everything we needed. Jaõa was also very kind and helpful. Perfect way to discover Portugal!

Super contact durant toute le process de location du van. Je suis très satisfait du niveau de prestation, le van est nickel, l'équipement et les accessoires au top. Les explications sur le fonctionnement des équipements du van ont été très claires. Je note la grande disponibilité de Cédric et son épouse. Je ne peux que recommander et ferais très certainement appel a eux si je repasse dans la région.

Quero compartilhar nossa primeira viagem em um motorhome. Foi uma aventura inesquecível de três dias, partindo de Setúbal até o Algarve e de volta. Gostaria de destacar que éramos três famílias com três motorhomes, o que nos permitiu fazer comparações. E, embora a nossa "casinha" fosse a menor em tamanho, certamente não ficava atrás em termos de conforto interno.Vamos aos pontos positivos:1 Tínhamos tudo o que precisávamos para uma estadia confortável em nossa "casa"! Encontramos travesseiros, sacos de dormir, utensílios diversos (frigideiras, panelas, ralador, espátulas), kit de costura, cesto dobrável para roupa suja, recipientes vazios, almofadas decorativas, kit de limpeza, xampu, pasta de dente, pregadores de roupa e até copos de vidro (!), louça de cerâmica, guardanapos, belas toalhas de cozinha e banho, além de sacos de lixo.2 Joaquim, o proprietário do motorhome, merece uma menção especial. Ele foi muito atencioso e responsável. Uma atenção especial foi dada à segurança: passamos por um briefing de duas horas e recebemos materiais impressos para nos familiarizarmos.Agora, vamos aos pontos negativos:1 Ausência de ar-condicionado. Tivemos sorte com o clima, então, em junho, estava confortável o suficiente sem ele. O clima dentro do motorhome permaneceu perfeito graças às janelas abertas.Recomendamos o motorhome do Joaquim com confiança, especialmente se você deseja evitar a necessidade de dirigir um motorhome enorme e valoriza o conforto e o aconchego. Tudo foi planejado nos mínimos detalhes, então, apesar do tamanho compacto, viajar nesse motorhome foi confortável e agradável.Não hesite, o motorhome do Joaquim é uma ótima escolha para aqueles que desejam desfrutar de uma viagem com conforto e sensação de estar em casa. Voltaremos com prazer e definitivamente o recomendaremos a todos os nossos amigos!

We are very happy about our trip with the campervan. We are family of two adults and two kids. The van is great - it is well maintained, in good technical order, everything works as it should. There is everything you may need for the trip - bed linen, camping chairs and table, all the kitchen ware including cooking oil and spices, and even hot shower! We have rented campervans before, but this time was the best experience. Adelino and his family was very helpful. We would definitely be happy to rent the van again next time.

We had a blast traveling and sleeping through Portugal with Stephen's van. Even though not everything ran smoothly Stephen was always available to help us and fix any problems. I would definitely recommend!

Thank you so much to Sara and her family for renting their beautiful motorhome to us. We had the BEST trip. Two weeks spent in the motorhome, 2 adults and 2 children (5&2).Communication before and during was great. The motorhome was very clean, very comfy and had many things that we needed for a great holiday. The pick up locations was only 8 minutes from Calais and we were able to leave our car on a public road for two weeks without any issues. If you’re thinking of renting a motorhome I would 100% recommend Sara & her van. It all went so well and we are already thinking about when we can do it again.

O Joaquim foi sempre muito prestável e explicou tudo lindamente. A AC estava impecável, limpa e tudo a funcionar como deve ser. Guia se facilmente e gasta pouco combustivel. Voltarei alugar em breve!

Sam and Emma was amazing from the initial booking enquiry straight through the the actual collection. Campervan was in excellent condition and lovely to drive. Nothing was too much for both of them to accommodate. Would fully recommend this couple to anyone. Thanks again for the use the van for our amazing week in Wales.
