The owner, David is a very friendly and helpful guy. He responds to messages quickly and stays in touch during the rental period to aid if needed. The car is cute and practical, but it is a 20 year old vehicle and has some wear and tear on curtains and windows. The beds are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen works well. The car handles well on the road in spite of it's age and weight. All in all a very good experience.

The communication with Ricardo and the rest of the OM Free team was great! They were very responsive, helpful, and available both before and during the trip to help. The motorhome itself is exactly as it is described here on the website and everything was working perfectly. The motorhome looks a bit "retro" on the pictures but it's in perfect condition, has all you need and drives very smoothly. It is constructed in a very efficient way and has many cupboards to store stuff. We were 4 people and I would recommend sleeping in it with max 4 people (2p above the driver's seat and 2p in the bunk beds) so you don't need to transform the sofas into a sleeping bed. The pickup location of the van is at 25min drive by Uber from Lisbon Airport. All camping gear that you need is provided in the motorhome: bed sheets, towels, basic kitchen utensils, foldable table & chairs, USB connections to charge electronic devices, radio, etc. We're definitely coming back to Portugal to rent the motorhome !

We had a few issues at the beginning with a previous campervan owner that had to cancel our rental - only few days before leaving. We thought we would never find a campervan as there were not many options and the prices were quite high. We found Raquel's van 1 day before our trip and she was the only one who accepted our request (immediately). The rental went very smoothly after . Thank you for the wonderful experience

A perfect setup. Everything was easy and convinient. The autocamper was in very good condition and the owner gave us a lot of information and ideas how to use it and how to travel. It was our first vaccation in autocamper and we love and like to do it again.

We had a very positive hire experience with Thierry and his family. They were very responsible people with great communication, and they returned our motorhome in a good state (apart from a few minor exterior problems that of course can occur at any time).We are happy to do business with them again at any time in the future, and would only recommend them to other hosts here.

The car was exactly as described. The renter was really pleasant guy and he was always supportive.

Although the caravan is nice and comfortable and the owner has been available for any question, the truth is that in the end the overall experience was not a good one  at all.  If I can leave an advice is this one: be really (I mean, REALLY) careful to check in super detail the conditions and damages that already existed before your departure, above all those you cannot see from the outside. In other words, ask as many questions as possible about previous damages and accidents and take a thousand pictures before your departure. In the end we had to take the responsibility for a damage below the caravan that we did not even know existed at all basically based on affirmations of the owner at our arrival.  Also read super carefully every single point of the contract/insurance contract and think if you want take the risks.  I wish I could have made a wiser evaluation and choose other caravan option available in the market.  It could have been a good experience, but it’s just one of those not to repeat and, unfortunately, not recommend. Also, we lost 500€.  Be wiser (and make a better choice) than us. ----------------------------------------------------------   Resposta do proprietário   Ainda bem que inicialmente gostaram da autocaravana, eu tambem nao tenho nada a apontar ate ao final, sao alegações que faco como proprietário que conhece o carro e sabe como o enviou a partida mesmo nao tendo sido eu a entregar. Autocaravana reparada em outubro se nao estou em erro e este toque foi claramente dado no vosso aluguer e queriam que assumisse a responsabilidade? Tenho toques dados que nao posso culpar ninguem por nao ter descoberto a tempo mas com a experiencia aprendi a ir a pontos chave onde ja vi serem problematicos e no vosso aluguer aconteceu, podia acontecer a qualquer um mas lá porque nao sentiram raspar, nao quer dizer que nao tenha acontecido e eu tenha que arcar com os custos da reparação, porque se for para alugar para ganhar para reparações mais valia a ter parada no quintal... Serve de lição a ambos os lados.  Agradeço pelo aluguer e tenho pena que nao tenha corrido como esperado.

Au niveau de la communication avec le propriétaire tout c'est bien passé. Je suis habituée à rouler en camping-car et en montagne. Jai trouve compliqué de récupérer le véhicule au centre-ville de Glasgow, et de le rendre à cet endroit surtout pour des voyageurs qui découvrent l'expérience de la conduite à gauche pour la première fois, et circuler à Glasgow et difficile est très difficile. beaucoup de panneaux d'interdiction de tourner à droite ou juste autorisé pour les bus ou les taxis. J'ai roulé à Édimbourg, je n'avais pas les mêmes problèmes de circulation. Le van se conduit très bien, il est très confortable à la conduite. Les options sont très agréables et très sécurisantes. Par contre le véhicule avait quelques soucis. La batterie etait faible, je devais démarrer le moteur pour éviter que la plaque de cuisson ne se coupe ou que les Lumières ne s'arrêtent dans la soirée. Le matin pour se faire un café tout simplement, il faut démarrer le moteur pour recharger la batterie. Je ne trouve pas cela très écologique. Il y a eu une fuite d'eau au niveau du toit et le matelas intérieur a été humide. Il manque également à mon avis pour ceux qui ont des problèmes de dos, un petit matelas à poser sur les sièges déplier pour faire le lit. La jonction entre les différentes parties peut faire mal au dos. Penser à prendre un fil de linge, pour parfois étendre du linge humide lors de vos arrêts. On tient deux jours en autonomie, voire plus si on fait sa toilette dans la rivière. Il y a beaucoup de place en Écosse se garer gratuitement. Mais dans l'ensemble j'ai adoré utiliser ce van. je pense que si le propriétaire change la batterie ou répare la fuite d'eau, ou propose un autre endroit de dépôt, ce sera un véhicule 100% top.
