Marco's Camper

For those who love a slow journey, a unique experience and a dive into the past without expecting the moon: VanNino is the one for you! Hi, I'm Marco and he is my beloved and faithful camper-van :D Its round eyes will win you over...its spots on the bodywork will make you think of how many adventures it has to tell...its smell will take you back in time to when the world was not plastic yet...its small imperfections are the 'war scars' he proudly wears with style...My mythical travel companion VanNino is all this and much more! It all starts with a Volkswagen LT28 with a 2400cc naturally aspirated diesel engine that has been perfectly camperized by the Trentino company 'Nord Camper'. Excellently because in its 5m long and 2.2m wide all the spaces are organized in such a way as to leave, among other things, a wonderful feeling of spaciousness without oppressing. Immediately behind the front driving seats, we find the dinette with extractable and extendable table with, on one side, the opening of the sliding side door and on the other a generous opening window. Two of the seat armchairs are extendable and become 2 rather comfortable single beds. Above the head, the sliding trolley will allow you to make room for the ventilated double bed with 2 side windows and the two hatches on the roof which can also be opened. continuing towards the rear of the vehicle we find on one side the complete kitchen with sink, gas burners and trivalent fridge, all inserted in a comfortable and spacious pantry. Immediately opposite a cabinet with 2 opening doors with various compartments and, if necessary, the gas stove for the cold seasons. c Complete the whole bathroom complete with sink, water toilet and shower and the rear hatch with two doors that opens completely providing a pleasant draft on hot days or in any case creating a complete opening. At the rear of the camper there are 2 aluminum bike racks and the ladder for accessing the roof rack. The gas system is powered by a LPG tank which is used for the stove, the water heater and the trivalent fridge. The water supply is instead ensured by an 80 liter tank with electric pump. The power supply is supplied either by a 12V battery with inverter but better by a lithium Ecoflow river which will provide good autonomy for your devices as well as being super portable. In any case, the LEDs for your evening and the right background music will be the perfect setting for an evening camping in the shade of a tree or in a campsite in the hills. VanNino's experience would not be the same even if it weren't for his essentiality in the endowment to characterize him. Apart from the stereo with CD, USB port and AUX input, everything else is wonderfully 'analog'. And those of you who have driven cars from the 80s and 90s know what I'm talking about: no power steering, just arm strength for cornering; 5-speed manual gearbox, no air conditioning but simple fan ventilation, a few buttons for the lights and a few levers for the wipers and indicators. The engine, located at the front under the cockpit, is quite noisy so forget the silence of an electric car! The rumble is felt and the warmth even after several km. Recommended for trips on the Italian territory or a weekend of immersion in nature, a preliminary meeting is required.
