Don't expect assisted steering... not here the steering is assisted by arms :) You must be prepared to drive a vehicle like your parents and grandparents used to drive. Think you can't do it? I think you are... I always took my holidays at Transit and believe me, there were no summer festivals that I missed from 1998 to 2007. Pssst, I also leave you with an idea: have you ever thought about those little parties where you drink one more drink and not is nothing convenient to drive? This is the ideal option... you're right there without the need to take risks. Enjoy life in safety.

Cancellation terms
In the event of a cancellation, the reimbursement terms vary depending on the date on which the booking was cancelled.
The booking is confirmed
If the cancellation is 30 days or more before departure, you will be reimbursed 70% of the rental cost (insurance and service fees excluded).

If less than 30 days before departure, no reimbursement will be possible, the total amount of the transaction is due.

Flexible cancellation due to cases of force majeure
If you are unable to travel due to a force majeure, you can benefit from adapted cancellation conditions. They allow you to postpone your trip at no cost.
The owner's remuneration will be refunded within 10 days after your cancellation. You will be able to use the remaining balance on your next booking, for the vehicle of your choice.

What an amazing experience! This camper has everything you need to explore the Algarve of Portugal.
It was our first time driving around in a camper, but thanks to the double explanation (already one week before with video call and once more on the spot) we were completely ready to start our journey. There are some important things to keep in mind when using this camper (switching a flip before and after driving, driving without power-assisted steering and how to use the gas and boiler), but already after one day you will get used to it.
Except for one unfortunate burst tire, we drove around for 10 days without any problems. Our tire problem was fixed within 1.5 hour. That brings me to the owner, Henrique. Even though he was on holiday, he made sure that we were perfectly prepared and was always directly available for questions or potential help. He renovated the whole camper himself, so he fairly knows everything about it.
The only criticism I can think of is that the bed was not long enough for me (1.80m), but this was solved by lying with a small angle. Furthermore, there is enough room in the camper and you can easily stand upright when walking around.
Also, there is the possibility of transforming the bed into a nice table with benches on both sides, which gives you the best views in the morning during breakfast. If you want to sit outside, don’t worry, Henrique also provides you with a table, chairs, beach umbrella and some blankets.
All in all, we would definitely recommend this camper to anyone else.

Our landlord H. handed over the vehicle to us in a very passionate and trustworthy way. Kitchen equipment and even a basic stock of provisions were available, so that we could start our vacation with the van without any worries. H. took a lot of time to explain important functions and explained them to us in detail. H. was also available at all times during the rental. When we had difficulties, he did his best to help us as quickly and as well as possible. We really appreciated his hospitality and warm personality. We gratefully accepted his offer to drive us to and from the bus station. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts for this great experience.🌸

Such a great adventure with Henrique's van!
He took time to teach us how to use his van, he has been very responsive and kind!
The camper van has everything you need, warm shower, many storage areas, fridge, gas baking sheets, sink, comfortable bed convertible in a table, etc...
About the ride, it is easy to drive even with no power steering, it is indeed funny and dynamic, we enjoyed a lot! We highly recommend

A nossa carrinha é uma Ford Transit 1988. Foi adaptada em 1994 numa autovivenda pelo meu pai, José António Correia. O meu pai é um entusiasta multifacetado do "faça você mesmo".
No início dos anos 90, fizemos a nossa primeira grande viagem, com o objetivo de visitar a minha irmã que estava a trabalhar em França. Da aldeia do Painho, em Portugal, saímos, eu, a minha mãe e meu pai. Atravessamos o sul de Espanha e o sul de França, levamos a minha irmã e fomos até ao Mónaco e Itália. Foram férias memoráveis que nunca esqueci. Essa aventura deixou-me, para sempre, a semente de passar todas as minhas férias a conduzir a Ford Transit.
Mais tarde, quando tirei a minha carta de condução, viajei milhares de quilómetros na Transit, sempre a curtir Nirvana, AC-DC, Motorhead e outras grandes bandas, sozinho e às vezes em boa companhia.
Visitei todo Portugal, assim como o sul de Espanha, levava a autocaravana para as festas universitárias e para todos os locais onde tinha vontade de dormir - Festivais de Verão incluídos :)
Mais tarde, já casado e com filhos, continuei a fazer férias na nossa carrinha Ford Transit... Agora é tempo de partilhar esta princesa selvagem convosco.
