How are repairs carried out in the event of a breakdown?

Non-battery mechanical breakdowns are most often the result of normal wear and tear or maintenance issues with the vehicle and are the responsibility of the owner.

In some cases, misuse of the vehicle by the renter can also lead to a breakdown. The Yescapa team will review each case and examine the context, the maintenance log of the vehicle and may have to request a diagnostic report from in a garage.

When the elements available are not sufficient to determine the liability between the renter or owner, or when the damaged vehicle or part is more than 10 years old, the liability may be shared between the parties, up to a maximum of 50/50.
