Our experience was amazing. The camper has it's age yes, being from 1999 we cannot expect to be pristine, however it did his job. We fit 3 people with luggages for 10 days super easily. Driving experience was acceptable. The owner was super available for every kind of question, kind and precise. - Yescapa
5-Star Camper Van Experience. We recently had the pleasure of renting a camper van from Mad Campers during our trip to Madeira, and it truly made our holiday unforgettable. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, personal, and full of little touches that made all the difference. The camper van itself was superb- very clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable road trip. The setting was cozy, and the setup allowed us to cook, relax, and sleep comfortably no matter where we were on the island. The van drives great, with plenty of power for dealing with Madeira’s famously steep winding road, giving us the confidence to explore the island without worry. A huge thank you to Cristina, the owner, who was amazing from the moment we booked. Communication was quick, clear, and always helpful—she went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed, including insider tips for places to visit and the best parking spots. We were also warmly welcomed by Carina, who met us in person for both check-in and check-out, and also provided a shuttle to and from the airport to the van. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, walking us through everything we needed to know about the van and making sure we felt confident and ready to explore. Her enthusiasm and humour were contagious and set the perfect tone for our adventure. If you’re considering seeing Madeira, renting a camper from Mad Campers is hands-down the best way to do it. It gave us the freedom to roam, the comfort of a home on wheels, and a genuine connection with the island that we’ll never forget. We'll be back. . - Yescapa

Fantastico camper per esplorare l'Italia - Consigliatissimo! Abbiamo noleggiato il camper di Anatolie per un viaggio indimenticabile attraverso le Dolomiti e i laghi italiani. Dall'inizio alla fine, Anatolie è stato incredibilmente disponibile, reattivo e paziente: si è preso il tempo di spiegarci dettagliatamente tutte le caratteristiche del camper, assicurandosi che ci sentissimo sicuri prima di partire. Ha persino offerto il trasporto per l'aeroporto a un costo aggiuntivo, il che è stato di grande comodità. Il camper in sé era perfetto per la nostra avventura. Ha affrontato i passi montani con facilità, grazie alla sua guida fluida, al cruise control e alle funzioni di guida assistita. Nonostante le temperature quasi gelide delle Dolomiti, il riscaldamento ci ha tenuti al caldo e abbiamo dormito come sassi ogni notte. La cucina ci ha permesso di cucinare i nostri pasti e c'era spazio in abbondanza per tutti i nostri bagagli. Uno dei punti forti è stata la doccia: si è riscaldata rapidamente ed è stata assolutamente divina dopo lunghe giornate di escursioni. È raro trovare un camper che coniughi così bene comfort e funzionalità. Nonostante la barriera linguistica (comunicavamo tramite traduzione dall'italiano all'inglese), Anatolie era sempre a portata di telefono per qualsiasi domanda. Il suo supporto ha reso il nostro viaggio senza stress e davvero speciale. Se cercate un camper affidabile, ben equipaggiato e confortevole in Italia, non potremmo consigliarvi di più il camper di Anatolie. Grazie per averci aiutato a realizzare la nostra vacanza da sogno! Fantastic Camper Van for Exploring Italy – Highly Recommend! We rented Anatolie’s camper van for an unforgettable trip through the Dolomites and around the Italian lakes. From start to finish, Anatolie was incredibly helpful, responsive, and patient—he took the time to explain all the van’s features in detail, ensuring we felt confident before setting off. He even provided transport to the airport for an additional fee, which was a huge convenience. The van itself was perfect for our adventure. It handled mountain passes with ease, thanks to its smooth driving, cruise control, and assisted driving features. Despite near-freezing temperatures in the Dolomites, the heating kept us cozy, and we slept like babies every night. The kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals, and there was plenty of space for all our luggage. One of the highlights was the shower—it heated up quickly and felt absolutely divine after long days of hiking. It’s rare to find a camper van that balances comfort and functionality so well. Even with a language barrier (we communicated via translation between Italian and English), Anatolie was always just a phone call away if we had questions. His support made our trip stress-free and truly special. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-equipped, and comfortable camper van in Italy, we couldn’t recommend Anatolie’s van more. From the first to the last moment, the renters were super friendly and always ready to help. We received the vehicle unblievably clean and it was our trusty companion for over 2000km without any problems. It's compact size allowed us to reach amazing spot all throughout the country, where bigger campers would have gotten stuck. We definetly need to come back and explore the rest of the country. Hermosa experiencia! Ideal Romerita como primer viaje en caravana! Súper súper equipada, muy cómoda para dos. Mucho espacio de guardado, horno, vajilla, y ropa blanca que se agradeció mucho. Gaby muy buena anfitriona. Pudimos recorrer varias playas manejando poco. Quizás nos faltó estudiar más playas virgenes para evitar gente en las ciudades. Excelente fecha para manejarse cómoda y conseguir parking. - Yescapa
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, starting from the booking and throughout the whole rental. They communicated with us in english and when we had difficulties translating app was used patiently. They helped us a lot during airport transfer back and forth, which was a gret help for us with 2 kids. We got very fast responses from them.The handover was long and comprehensive, we could ask anything we did not know, calculate time for this. Whenever we had challanges during our trip, we could get into touch with them and they provided guidance in a very short time which was extremely helpful.The car was clean, we received pillows and blankets as well. It is very well equipped, pots and pans are in very good condition, kitchen comes also with a gas oven. We had small kids with us and the upper bed had an anti-falling net.Very good price-value ratio, good location to discover Provance. 2 days autonomy we got with this car, hot water, toilet, everything you need to stay in the nature or on farms (that is very good in France) as we did mostly.Strongly recommended, we will come again. - Yescapa
Lo pasé genial viajando sola con la furgoneta de Juan. Juan fue muy amable y estuvo dispuesto a responder a todas mis preguntas, ya que era mi primera vez alquilando y conduciendo una furgoneta sola. Además, me dio muchísimas sugerencias sobre lugares para visitar en mi viaje de 5 días. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente alquilar la furgoneta con Alacalacamper y volveré para descubrir nuevos lugares en España y Portugal! - Yescapa
We rented the campervan as two people for 8 days and drove 1,800 km through Seville, Faro, Lisbon, and Porto. As the first renters, the van was in excellent condition. Its compact size made it easy to drive and park, even in citiy centers. It’s small but practical and perfect for two people. We were able to travel off-grid without needing campsites. The bed was comfortable and long enough (I'm 185 cm), The hot shower worked great. Everything we needed was included; toilet paper, towels, detergent, soap, shampoo, bed linens, blanket, gas, etc. Marta and her husband were very helpful, answering all our questions and assisting us during pickup and drop-off. Alberto is unmatched in the world of guiding and making his renters feel at home. His vast knowledge of the area was extremely useful - from places to eat to places to park and places to see - I would not look any further if you're considering booking a camper van. The van was extremely clean and very comfortable for my wife and I - We plan on returning in November with family and renting two vans ! Mallorca is absolutely stunning truly a special place. Hiring from Marta and Ronaldo was amazing, they were friendly and reliable throughout the whole experience. We had an excellent time in the van, it suited us perfectly and got us up the mountainous roads in northern Mallorca. Only downfall was that the shower didn’t work but other than that I would recommend! - Yescapa

Oktay was a pleasure to work with and the RV was perfect for my needs. I would rent this RV again and I hope that I get the opportunity to go back to south Germany again for another bike trip. I was alone on this trip but it would have been perfect for 2-3 persons with bikes for a week or longer. Everything functioned well and the RV handled great on the Autobahn. Thanks Oktay! - Yescapa
Everything went smoothly with the motorhome rental. Alejandro was great — he welcomed us warmly, explained everything clearly, and there were no issues at all. We rented this motorhome for 5 days for a trip in North Portugal and had a great experience. Everything worked well, the van was comfortable, and it had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing on the road. Fernando, the owner, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had a smooth trip. We had a very nice first time experience using and enjoying the camper van of Laurent. He is a very communicative person and takes care of his van and renters. He reacts quickly to any kind of question and really tries to do whatever possible. On the pick up Laurent explained everything very clear and very open for our questions. We have really enjoyed the camper van, big enough for the two of us and all gear that you basically need is onboard. It is easy to drive, even through the narrow parts of some roads, easy to park. Fun to drive! We left the bed configuration on the all time, which meant that we had to move a bit with our stuff (luggage, food) once we left with the van. But that was our way of organizing. We loved using the stove and bbq. You can easily cooke (also inside if you need to), store some basics in the fridge and enjoy the outside life! We loved to open the back doors in the morning and enjoy the views! On our request we could leave the van at the airport where his wife met us. That was nice. We had an absolutely amazing experience renting Marco’s campervan! From the very beginning, Marco was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. The campervan itself was in excellent condition—spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and clearly very well maintained.The bed was super comfortable, which made all the difference for a good night’s sleep, and the layout of the van offered an ideal space for remote work. The WiFi worked flawlessly—100% reliable throughout our trip, which was a huge bonus.One of the highlights was the option to take surf lessons with Marco, which added a fun and unique element to our adventure. He’s not only a great host but also a great surf instructor!We’re so happy we chose Marco’s campervan and will definitely be renting from him again next time.
