My partner and I had a fantastic 4 night trip in Sao Miguel. Beatriz and Tiago were phenomenal! It was our first time using the platform and things didn't start off well with issues booking (a yescapa problem). Yet B&T were always communicating with me and we finally got the correct dates to be reserved. B&T went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience, offering their time, suggestions and help to troubleshoot.The van is beautifully decorated and well equipped. People always peeked inside when we had the doors open. We used the table and chairs, and the stove on multiple occasions. The bed was okay, as can be expected from a campervan. At 5'9 I was just about able to be straight from heel to head. If you are a much taller person, you might feel uncomfortable. With the curtains, we had privacy at night. We kept things tidy all the time and recommend doing so as things can quickly get out of hand in tight spaces. The water pump was reliable, as were the lights and power outlets (USB, 12 volt and usb-C) to charge our devices. We even had a portable espresso machine that I used often. Unfortunately it led us to run out of gas for our meals on the final day. The sink looks cute but is perhaps not the most functional design. The water tank was large enough for us to not have to refill it over our 4 nights but we were also very careful and didn't waste water. We really appreciated having some spices and the oil and vinegar to make salads. There were lots of pots (3) but unfortunately no lids - I would have preferred 1 pot with a lid along with the kettle which was useful to boil water. We thought we had a good amount of space for storing our food and our carry-on suitcases. B&T even had a basket of games and an instax camera available for our use!Sao Miguel is a hilly island. Accessing beaches or miradouros always means driving down switchbacks and certainly an experienced driver is needed (5 speed manual, diesel). The engine would struggle at times, and knowing when to switch gears was important to keep momentum and maintain speed up inclines. The van had no issues climbing very steep hills (>10%) on first gear. We found some amazing spots to spend the night and it was a very cool way of covering lots of ground and explore the island. At the time of our rental, the radiator fan was not working and this resulted in very foggy windshield one morning until it cleared up. It was not a big deal but could have posed a safety issue while driving if the fog had persisted. The van did have a modern display screen enabling you to connect your device and play music, but the speakers we lacking in sound quality and volume.All in all, I can't think of a much better way to explore the island than using a campervan. We had a great adventure and it was definitely due to the kindness and efforts from B&T and all the great people we met along the way. - Yescapa

We had a great time in Joao’s Blue Hotel. The van came equipped with everything we needed to cook and clean and there were tons of USB outlets to charge our phones, speakers, and backup batteries. The bed, pillows, and blankets provided were super comfortable and we slept well during our 15 day rental!Joao gave detailed instructions on how to use the equipment. I will say that driving the van definitely has a learning curve to it and you should be confident driving an older manual vehicle. Joao was available if we needed anything but our trip was smooth and we didn’t have any issues. Traveling Portugal by van is 100% the best way to explore and I recommend renting a van from Joao! - Yescapa

The hire went smoothly, Luca met us in convenient places and gave us a lift to the station. There was one issue with the van but Luca sorted it out so that we didn’t lose much time! The van worked well, and was adequately equipped. - Yescapa

Everything was great about our rental experience, Peter and hos family were great, helped us with items like a baby chair before we arrived, collected us at airport, gave us very good instructions and supported us on our journey. We couldn't have asked for more. The campervan was great perfect for 3 of us with EVERYTHING you need to make a great camping experience. - Yescapa

We hired the campervan for 2 weeks and we toured around Brittany. When we picked up the campervan they were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with sorting out the hot water but with a couple of texts we got it working. Contact was easy. We had no problems. We had.an amazing holiday. Would definitely use Yescapa again. The two of us spent 12 nights and drove over 800 Km from Lisbon down to Faro and back visiting different campsites along the way. The caravan is big enough to be comfortable for two adults and small enough to navigate through the streets of Sintra. The solar battery storage went dead during the trip but Jeremy and Annabelle offered to reimburse us for the expense of a diagnostic and replacement. They were always available to answer our questions. We would not hesitate to rent this caravan again. - Yescapa

Miriam and Valentino were really great when renting out the van and also the communication was on point.The van drove very well, since it's such a new car - had absolutely no problems with the mountainous roads in the north. Since the van is not too big, it was also relatively easy to drive anywhere if you have sufficent expierence with it. The T6 also has a display in the dashboard and connects seamlessly to your phone for navigation and music. Not only was the interior of the van very cute, but also practical. It included all the necessities for a week of camping. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better option and were very happy with our little van! - Yescapa
