La van de Álvaro es simplemente espectacular. Está súper equipada, tiene absolutamente todo lo que puedes necesitar para viajar con comodidad, y se nota que está pensada hasta el último detalle. Además, está muy limpia, organizada y es comodísima. Todo funciona perfectamente y hace que la experiencia sea muy fácil y agradable. Realmente se siente como una pequeña casa sobre ruedas. Y Álvaro es increíble. Desde el primer momento fue amabilísimo, muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier duda. Nos explicó todo genial y se nota que le importa que la gente tenga una gran experiencia. En resumen: van espectacular y anfitrión aún mejor. La recomendamos 100% a cualquiera que quiera vivir una aventura en carretera con total comodidad.

The owner was helpful and available for communication, and the vehicle itself was generally in good condition.However, on our first day of camping we experienced some unexpected issues with the preparation of the van. There was no gas in the portable stove, the batteries in the portable light were empty, and there were not enough warm blankets available, even though I had expressed concerns about blankets before our arrival. Because of this, our first night was quite uncomfortable — we couldn’t prepare dinner and we were cold during the night.The next day we had to spend quite a bit of time going from store to store to find batteries for the second flashlight and gas for the stove. We also tried to buy additional warm blankets but were unable to find any. Instead of enjoying our trip, we had to spend time searching for supplies that could have easily been prepared in advance before our arrival.Since we couldn’t get warm blankets, we were not able to sleep at higher altitudes in the mountains and had to return closer to sea level each night to find warmer temperatures. Because of the cold nights we also couldn’t use the upper pop-up roof bed, so all of us slept together in the back of the van to keep warm, which didn’t provide the best rest.The van did include most of the major kitchen supplies for cooking, but the large plastic box storing them was broken and the plates, pans, and other items had not been cleaned from the previous user. The large bag used to store the bedding was also completely torn, making it difficult to pack the bedding away during the day.Additionally, regarding the internal kitchen that uses a separate gas bottle: when we picked up the van I noticed that there was no sealing gasket on the valve of the gas bottle. Because of safety concerns for myself and my two children, I did not feel comfortable using the internal kitchen. During the next two days on the island I was not able to find such a gasket in local stores, so we ended up not using the internal kitchen at all. When returning the van, the owner mentioned that a gasket is not needed in that place. Whether that is correct or not I still do not know, but in Slovenia we always use a sealing gasket there to prevent any possible gas leakage.Overall, these are not major issues, but with a bit more care and preparation from the owner our experience could easily have been a 5-star stay. Small details make a big difference and show how much attention a renter gives to the people using their vehicle and how important the quality of the guests’ vacation is to the owner.When returning the vehicle, I explained all of these points to the owner and asked if the additional €20 cleaning fee could be waived as a gesture of understanding. Unfortunately, this request was declined. Had the owner agreed, I would have taken it as a sign of goodwill and likely would not have written this review.

The agreement with José was great, we were able to agree on the exact time of pick-up from the airport and return to the airport. He recommended places to visit in Lanzarote. We also knew that if anything happened with the car, we could contact him at any time. As for the car, it was great, everything we could need for the whole week was prepared, tidy and cozy. Despite minor imperfections (which you have to expect since it is a really old car), the car managed to drive around the whole island several times in all weather conditions. We really enjoyed our week in this camper van and thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with SAUL's Campervan! The campervan was superbly equipped, making our trip so comfortable. The host was incredibly kind, flexible, and explained everything thoroughly. Highly recommend – a true 5-star experience!

Everything worked out perfectly. The van is quite easy to drive and handles all the terrain we had to go through really well (we didn't try the drive to Cofete though) and is quite stable in the wind. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable and easy to set up. There is more than enough storage for our trip, as long as you manage it well. The outdoor shower is convenient if you're at the beach. There are a few normal signs of use but nothing that bothered us too much. The owner and Alex were always readily available and just generally really nice, answering every question and request we had. Would gladly contact David/Alex again if we come back to Fuerteventura.

Javi was the perfect host. Extremely kind and accommodating. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. When we had a small issue with the van, he drove all the way out to us and fixed it himself. Then, at the end of the trip, he met us to drop off the vehicle super early because our flight was at 8 am. 10 out of 10 experience! I might go back to Lanzarote just to use his van again.

Fab. We loved the van and the owners were lovely

Booking the van was really simple - the owner was responsive and available, very friendly. Also no problems with returning the van back to the owner. There is everything in the vehicle that the description promises - toilete (we never used it tho), shower (it works fine, the tank is big enough for two proper showers, definitely more if you don’t waste water), the refrigerator (works great!) and the sink with basic cooking utensils, cutlery pots and mugs. The solar panels work great - we never lacked electricity (we were constantly charging our phones an dusing the lights). The bed is functional and very big (two people have more than enough space!), there was bedding, blankets and pillows in the van. All in all a great price for what the owner is offering. Definitely recomended🤙🤙 P.S.: we stayed for a week and the weather was terrible - constant showers and terrible wind. Even in such conditions the van offered everything we needed to feel safe

Our hire experience was good, we had a very good time. The car had a very small problem with the gears in the first day , we called the owner and he came really fast to solve the problem. After that the trip went smooth, with no problems. The car is clean, spacious and comfortable, everything in working order, just like in the pictures. Evelio is really friendly, responds fast at messages , really hospitable and acomodating. He gave us a ride from the bus station and back to the bus station in Orotava for free. When we return to Tenerife next year I will make sure to rent his camper again. Great trip !

A great way to visit Madeira! Easy to find places to stop for the night in all areas on Madeira. Lots of parks with bbq and tables, some with public restrooms. The RV has a few years but still runs fine. The manual shift along with strong diesel engine is well needed to maneuver the hills and mountains of the island.

Sebastien is really nice guy and his car is great. The communication with him was super easy, he always came on time, the car was clean and ready to go. The only thing, but its very subjective, for spending more time in the car, its not so good for tall people and it can get cold at night, but Sebastien has nice blankets. It has been great experience.

Lucia and her husband are super nice and sweet people which are very helpful :) the caravan is in very good shape and makes a lot of fun to travel with. Any time again!!! *****

Ascen was punctual, the vehicle was lovely and properly described. We also got hints on things to visit around the island. A very nice experience all in all!
