My wife and I recently rented this camper van from Luis for five days and had an amazing experience. We drove from Lisbon down to the Algarve and then back up the west coast, and the van performed perfectly the entire time — very reliable and surprisingly fuel-efficient.One thing we really appreciated was how discreet the van is. Since it’s not too large, we were able to park almost anywhere overnight without drawing much attention, which gave us a lot of flexibility during our trip.Luis was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Communication was smooth — although he preferred using WhatsApp instead of the Yescapa app, it worked out perfectly. He gave us great suggestions for our road trip, made the check-out and return process quick and easy, and even helped us sort out a parking ticket issue when we couldn’t pay it ourselves. He speaks excellent English (and likely other languages), which made everything that much easier.Overall, we absolutely loved our trip and highly recommend renting this camper van. It’s ideal for 2–4 people who want to explore Portugal comfortably, affordably, and a bit under the radar.

This was our first campervan experience and Eugenio made it very easy for us. He clearly explained how everything worked and sent videos too. He was very friendly and helpful, giving advice on our itinerary and making recommendations. The van was great - it’s not a new vehicle, but it is very comfortable, well equipped and has plenty of storage space. I got used to driving it very quickly and enjoyed cooking in the compact but well organised kitchen area. We had a small technical issue the first night, and although Eugenio could have left us to sort it out with the insurance call-out service, he instead drove to where we were camped, accompanied by a family member who is a car mechanic, and they sorted the issue there and then. We couldn’t have asked for more! When we left the van back after 11 great days, he drove us into the city centre so that we could get a taxi to our next destination. The hire experience was very smooth from the beginning. Rafaela and Carina were friendly, welcoming and always there for whatever you might need.We had a lovely time in the van, traveling all around Portugal - from the Algarve region to Porto 🫶 The van is cozy and has a really lovely vibe.

Clelia è stata super, ha già tanta esperienza nella guida di VanCamper, già dai primi metri ha dimostrato sicurezza e disinvoltura nella guida. Il Van è tornato in condizioni eccellenti, pulitissimo in ogni suo angolo. Clelia è anche una bravissima fotografa, ho ricevuto due scatti di Strafic incredibili! Grazie ancora vi aspetto per la prossima avventura.

Juan nos ha ayudado mucho en la partida. También, él continúa comunicando durante nuestro viaje para cada problema pequeño o donde podemos encontrar algo. Si te gusta, él puede darte buenos ajustes también!

Lionel a loué le fourgon pour une première expérience. Il était accompagné de sa femme et de leur fille de 10 ans. Tout s’est très bien passé, ils ont laissé le fourgon dans un très bon état. Nous les recommandons sans problème 😊

Desde el primer momento comunicación fluida, muy atentos para cualquier cosa que necesitábamos. La camper impecable, muy completa, tiene un buen tamaño para moverte dentro y estar cómodo y es lo suficientemente "chica" para manejar y estacionar. Muy fácil acceso desde el Prat y la ciudad de Barcelona para recogerla y devolverla. Sin dudas volvería a alquilarla en mi próximo viaje. Gracias!!!

The coolest van I’ve ever driven! Easy to drive once you get the hang of the gears, cozy to sleep in, and absolutely perfect for our trip to Gliding. Pedro was attentive, patient, and flexible with the return time — and so kind in helping me learn the shifter, which took a little practice at first. Truly an unforgettable trip!

First trip to Madeira and first time driving a camper van. Joao is friendly and explains everything regarding on how to use the van correctly but also small tips for the stay. Regarding the van, its quite old and you have to be careful how to drive it as its big and heavy and the roads down there are steep and narrow. Everything inside the van works well. Thank you Joao

De vakantie was echt super leuk! We hebben veel gezien en gedaan en hebben een heerlijke tijd in de bus gehad. Enige nadeel is dat het natuurlijk een wat ouder model is, dus harder dan 90/100 kmh gaat hij niet. Verder hebben we veel gebruik gemaakt van de barbecue. Met Arthur verliep de communicatie ook heel goed. Niks op aan te merken!

I wholeheartedly recommend Clément and his van. Communication before and during our trip was great; he replies quickly and speaks English fluently. The van is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking outdoors. Its small footprint means it fits in any normal parking spot, is not immediately recognized as a camper van and easily gets up winding mountain roads. Our trip took us through northern Spain where we slept on a variety of campsites and parking lots in all the comfort you could possibly need.

Everything went smoothly throughout the rental. Great communication and super flexible with small changes to the plan. The van was returned in perfect condition. Respectful and reliable renters. Highly recommended!
