Insurance
The third-party insurance is obligatory and therefore included, it only covers damages on the other parties car. For damages on our cars, we offer two excess cover options: €10/day reduce your excess to €1.000 (incl. 2nd driver, for drivers older than 26 years) or €14/day to minimize your risk to €500 (incl. 2nd driver, for drivers older than 26 years, journey to Spain) In case you’re younger than 26 years the young driver cover for 14€/day with a self excess of 1.000€ is mandatory. If you want to add a second driver to the contract, €6/day extra will be added. All additional insurances cover damages on our vehicles, including theft (€2000 Excess).

Roadside assistance
If the vehicle is immobilised following a breakdown or an incident, you will be covered by the assistance provided by the owner. A dedicated number will allow you to contact the assistance company and will inform you about the next steps.

Secure payment
When you pay on Yescapa, the vehicle owner's earnings are kept by our secure, third-party payment provider until the day after your trip start date. So, the owner will welcome you on your trip start date and help you get set up in their vehicle. A few days later, the owner will receive their earnings.

Guaranteed trip
If you are unable to begin your hire due to a vehicle breakdown or for a reason attributable to the owner, our team will offer you alternative vehicles that meet your travel requirements, or you will receive a full refund.

Martin's campervan description

The Economist is our basic campervan but provides all the necessary equipment like gas stove, Kitchengear (pot pans plates), surfboard storage under the bed, wetsuit box/bag, camping table and chairs, pillows and clean sheets. The only thing you need is a sleeping bag but we can supply you that too if you need it.

If you are below 26 years old do notworries we have an young drivers cover that allows you to drive our vans.

We are based in Ericeira (free) but we have also options to deliver the van Faro/Porto (+€150) and offer one way rentals.

Optional we also have a campingshower 10liters, 12V cooler, cosy blanket (240*220) surfboards and wetsuits, for rent let us know if you need either we have your back! :)
