You can postpone your trip to other dates or cancel your booking. Go to 'My Trips' to cancel or modify your booking.

Cancellation policy:

Cancel without reason up to 1 month before your departure

Up to 30 days before departure, you get a refund of 95% of the part corresponding to the owner's remuneration.

In case of force majeure, it is possible to cancel up to 48h before departure

This cancellation may give rise to a refund of the owner's share or a postponement of dates depending on the terms chosen by the owner (visible on each listing before your request). Following the cancellation you get a rental credit.

Cancellation insurance, think about it!

It allows you to cancel until the day of departure and covers you for many unpredictable cancellation reasons that are not cases of force majeure.

How to cancel?

Go to My trips > select the rental concerned > Cancel > Cancellation for a case of force majeure.

The terms of your rental credit will be indicated and a supporting document will be requested. It is possible to cancel for the reason Case of force majeure up to 48h before the departure date of the rental.

In the case where the owner cannot deliver the vehicle to the renter due to a reason of force majeure, the owner must immediately inform the renter and contact our team by email indicating the booking reference.


How does the rental credit work?

The amount of the rental credit is equal to the service fees and rental insurance of the cancelled rental. It may also include the owner's remuneration, depending on the cancellation terms chosen by the latter:

Indeed, each owner can determine their cancellation terms for Cases of force majeure. Depending on the choice indicated by the owner in their profile, the amount of the owner remuneration may be refunded to the renter, or stored as rental credit, usable on one of the vehicles of the same owner, valid on one or more rentals, confirmed within 12 months following the cancellation of the initial rental.

The renter will be informed of the cancellation terms applicable to their rental when requesting cancellation.

The rental credit allows you to travel at later dates, and will be automatically deducted from the amount of the new rental according to the nature of the credit:

  • the rental credit of an owner's share will be deducted from the new owner's share of the future rental;
  • the rental credit of insurance and service fees will be deducted from the new insurance and service fees share of the future rental.

In case of subscription to cancellation insurance, this being offered by an entity external to Yescapa, the amount of this insurance cannot be refunded.

The rental credit can be used multiple times. After the expiration date the rental credit will not be refundable and the owner's share (when it exists) will be transferred by bank transfer to the concerned owner.
