About this converted van
It was like a daughter soared with lots of love and care. A dream comes true, coming for the pleasure of traveling, comfort and autonomy. Of not being tied to the places and discovering what is beautiful about Portugal.
We named him the White Turtle. She is white, slow (80/90km/h) and has the house on her back. It is very comfortable, suitable for all types of travel and in any season.
She likes to watch us surf (she is prepared to take boards), go to the countryside or discover wonders in valleys and mountains.
She is a true companion!

Cancellation terms
In the event of a cancellation, the reimbursement terms vary depending on the date on which the booking was cancelled.
The booking is confirmed
If the cancellation is 30 days or more before departure, you will be reimbursed 70% of the rental cost (insurance and service fees excluded).
30 days before departure
If less than 30 days before departure, no reimbursement will be possible, the total amount of the transaction is due.

Flexible cancellation due to cases of force majeure
If you are unable to travel due to a force majeure, you can benefit from adapted cancellation conditions. They allow you to postpone your trip at no cost.
The owner's remuneration will be refunded within 10 days after your cancellation. You will be able to use the remaining balance on your next booking, for the vehicle of your choice.

The vehicle has everything you need - kitchen, bathroom, bed, dining area, roof racks, warm water, ... I just missed a coffe pot. There are solar panels on the roof so we didn't have to charge it on our four day trip, which was great. Although the van is old, the machine seems new and all works as intended. It does not have power steering but you will get used to it pretty quickly so it's not an issue at all.
They do not speak much English but we actually could communicate pretty normally and everything about operating the van was well explained.
The van was just a bit too small for me (I'm 184cm) as I had to tilt my head a bit while standing and shrink a bit while sleeping. But again, you get used to it and it is not that big of an issue.
All in all, I would recommend it to anybody as we had a wonderfull trip with the van. 😊
