Legendary VW combi van, rare for hire.

Come and enjoy an unforgettable weekend or vacation (from 1 to 4 people) with this splendid 1963 Volkswagen Combi Split T1 named Feel'More. A road trip with Feel'More is intended only for lovers of old vehicles who will take care of them without rushing them.

It is an ideal vehicle to take the small roads, enjoy the landscape and take your time with a small regular break for you and the Aircooled engine (air cooling).

WARNING: motorways are to be banned, the combi travels at a maximum of 80-90km/h, therefore slower than trucks. This vehicle is not made for long trips in one go.

It is very comfortable, equipped with its fridge (vacuum) and the necessary equipment (see list) as well as a bench seat which, when unfolded, offers a bed 1.77m long and 1.28m (at the back ) to 1.50m (at the front) wide. My spouse of 1.90 m sleeps there peacefully and stands inside the combi once the mushroom is deployed.

Inside, you can cook (2 gas burners), eat (sliding table) and do the dishes (sink, 12l jerrycan and 14l gray water jerrycan).

Outside, you can eat (folding table and chairs, folding barbecue), use the folding service and wash (hand shower with long hose and 12l jerry can).

Interior refurbished and engine overhauled in 2022, it retains the charm of the old while being equipped with what one would expect from a current van: LED lights, multiple USB sockets, 12V sockets, 220V socket, adapter 220V camping and its extension cord, Samsung tablet with SFR TV installed (connection sharing or WIFI required), bluetooth car radio then from the Victron brand: 2 AMG batteries of 165A/h allowing a long autonomy (isolated from the vehicle battery), 12/220V transformer (for connecting a laptop computer, for example), a 30A blue smart charger (for recharging the batteries at a campsite), an orion smart charger (for recharging the batteries while driving).

At the pace of the mythical van, no need to go to the other side of the world, after a few seconds at the wheel it is a total change of scenery and you will meet smiling people as you pass.

Useful information :

- Number of drivers limited to 2 per rental.

- Allow 1 hour before departure for the necessary handling because with it, forget the power steering and effective braking, it's a throwback to the 60s.

- The vehicle is rented with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank (Sans Plomb 98)

- No seat belt in this vehicle: seats not equipped in 1963 so no obligation to wear it (article R.412-1 of the highway code).

- Provide bed linen (sheets/duvet/sleeping bags) and pillows.
