In the event of a cancellation, the reimbursement terms vary depending on the date on which the booking was cancelled.
If the cancellation is 30 days or more before departure, you will be reimbursed 70% of the rental cost (insurance and service fees excluded).
If less than 30 days before departure, no reimbursement will be possible, the total amount of the transaction is due.
Flexible cancellation due to cases of force majeure
If you are unable to travel due to a force majeure, you can benefit from adapted cancellation conditions. They allow you to postpone your trip at no cost.
The amount of your cancelled booking will be transferred to a Rental Credit which will allow you to book the same vehicle (or another vehicle owned by this owner), for the dates of your choice.
A éviter absolument car propriétaire malhonnête.
Le propriétaire cherche à me faire payer en totalité le remplacement à neuf de la moustiquaire (620€ !), alors que nous avions convenu à l'état des lieux retours que ma responsabilité n'était pas engagée, car un des fils avait cédé en raison d'une usure prématurée dû à un défaut constructeur...
Cf photo, le fil a cédé au droit de la vis saillante, sans aucune utilisation anormale de notre part.

Nous n'avions pas convenu de telle chose.
Cette moustiquaire fonctionnait parfaitement lors de votre départ. Vous nous l'avez retournée abîmée, il est tout à fait normal que votre responsabilité soit engagée.Rented this Motorhome for a week when our first MH was cancelled. As firsttimers, we focused on owners that speak English, since we did not speak French. Unfortunately, the owner does not speak English Even though she claim s to in the ad. Her husbond speaks a little bit, but not enough to be able to explain everything about the vehicle.
They live quite a distance from BOD, so be prepared to pay 100€+ in taxi if you arrive that way.
First we had agreed to pick up the MH at 18.00. Which was late for us arriving at 13.30, but the owner was working till then. But after arriving the owner was delayed 1 hour. So we had to find something else to do for another hour.
the owner was not willing to compensate or meet us closer to the AirPort. ( it was hard to get a taxi ).
When picking up the MH we had a relatively quick go through. And did not go through everything. The owner had made a video in french, that we could see in advance, but since it was in french we did not get all the details.
They had also made an instruction manual in french.
All communication from the owner during our rental was also in french, so we had to translate everything each time We communicated.
The MH itself was ok. It is quite big, which makes it a little bit of a hassle to park in central areas.
if you consider crossing the border, make sure to tell them this upfront. If not, you are not allowed during the rental.
Also be aware that you must clean the MH thoroughly inside and outside before returning it. We got aware of this some hours before the rental ended, and it became quite a hassle.
If information was given in a language we understood, this would probably not be such a problem.
Finally, at return you must count on approximately 1,5-2 hour session and a thorough go-through. Much more than on departure for us.
Of course we ended up with 1500€ extra cost for things we did not go through when picking up the MH. Really frustrating. A bed strap on the bunkbed only used 1 night by my son ( <40 kgs), was somewhere bent. (would never have noticed this Even though we had seen the strap on departure), also a couple of Windows-hatches was not functioning right.
Finally some minor marks from branches ( not visible on pictures before nor after) was "discovered".
All these things was charged the deposit, since we had signed but not checked at departure. costly learned lesson by us.
This MH is the ovners "baby" ( as they call it), so be prepared to pay for any minor scratch they may find. We almost got charged for a small sunscreen Stiain, that we easily could rub off. ( you need to document everything at pick-up)

PROPRIETAIRE FUYEZ CE LOCATAIRE!!!! Une location demandée la veille pour le lendemain et nous devons être disponible quand monsieur le souhaite, désolé mais nous travaillons !!
Bassens loin de Bordeaux? En TER 7mn donc 100 euros de taxi c’est que Monsieur l’a bien voulu.
Le camping-car doit être rendu aussi propre que lorsqu’il est pris ce qui nous semble totalement logique mais pas pour ce monsieur qui nous l’a rendu absolument DEGOUTANT!! De la Waxx partout sur la carrosserie ainsi que sur les sièges, poignet de porte etc…et nous n’avons pris aucun supplément ménage!
Donc oui lorsque nous voyons que les sangles des lits superposés sont cassés et que les ouvrants du toit ouvrant le sont également (alors que tout fonctionnait parfaitement à l’état des lieux de départ), nous déclarons un sinistre et cela prend du temps !! Je ne parle effectivement pas anglais mais mon mari le parle et le comprend parfaitement donc ce monsieur est tout simplement de mauvaise foi!!
