Vintage 1978 VW Kombi T2 to rent from central Barcelona!
It is ideal to discover Catalunya for a long weekend (Costa Brava, Garrotxa, etc.) or further if you have more time (Basque country, Ibiza, etc..).
This van is perfect for a couple and can fit up to 3 people : It has 2 double beds (110x190cm) It is equipped with all the essentials to enjoy the stay : a fridge, 2 portable gas stoves, cooking utensils(pans, pots, coffee machine etc...), dishes (plates, cups), cutlery, sink, one table, 3 foldable seats, awning, an external shower (water is not heated) and a radio. We also have the necessary car chargers for your laptop and phones (USB and a converter for 1 domestic plug) . If you are staying in a campsite, we have the cables to connect to the electrical network.
For families with young children : We have a baby seat and a booster seat.
The passenger seat can turn 360º.
--CHECKIN--
Before you hit the road, we will explain you everything about the vehicle including a quick test ride, we will sign a contract with the accessories inventory. To cover for it, we take 900€ deposit that is given back at checkout.
The location is in Central Barcelona near metro Collblanc.
We also offer the possibility of home checkins and checkouts , delivering and picking the vehicle to your place or the airport for an extra fee.

why those hours?
Old vehicles are forbidden to drive in Barcelona from 07AM until 8PM Monday to Friday.
We have the right to make 10 exceptions per year so for longer bookings, we use this possibility.
-- IMPORTANT NOTES--
Quick disclaimer : It is not possible to stay overnight with the van in Barcelona city, although it is possible in the surroundings or nearby campings (25 minutes away).
Here are the requirements to drive the vehicle : Being older than 25 years old, with a driving license granted for more than 2 years, and valid to drive in Spain (check if yours is fine, or if you need an official translation or international permit. If any doubt, please ask us)
Being a 1978 vehicle, It is made for cruising with a top speed of 85km/h. The fuel consumption is around 10L/100kms (unleaded fuel). A few more perks being : no assisted steering system and not suitable for people under 160cms (because you can not adjust the seats that much) but you will be able to travel in time and enjoy the scenery.
On top of the rental, we offer to give you tips and advices on where to stay, camping sites and places to visit so that you can plan your journey ahead. The law about wild camping and overnight stays in Spain depend on every city. The easiest solution is to stay on official sites : special camping-car areas, car parks, etc. or camping sites.
This vehicle can be rented for a maximum of 3 people.
There is a lot of marvelous places to discover around Barcelona : beaches, mountains, etc. Most rentals are to go to : Costa Brava, Garrotxa, Ibiza, Pais vasco, Delata del Ebre, Valencia.

Cancellation terms
In the event of a cancellation, the reimbursement terms vary depending on the date on which the booking was cancelled.
The booking is confirmed
If the cancellation is 30 days or more before departure, you will be reimbursed 70% of the rental cost (insurance and service fees excluded).

If less than 30 days before departure, no reimbursement will be possible, the total amount of the transaction is due.

Flexible cancellation due to cases of force majeure
If you are unable to travel due to a force majeure, you can benefit from adapted cancellation conditions. They allow you to postpone your trip at no cost.
The owner's remuneration will be refunded within 10 days after your cancellation. You will be able to use the remaining balance on your next booking, for the vehicle of your choice.

Ha sido una experiencia genial. Nicolás ha sido súper atento y la camper de 10. No hemos tenido ningún problema con nada, vehículo fácil de manejar, todo en buen estado, Nicolas nos dejó unas mantas con las que dormimos genial con -1°C en el exterior. Sobre todo, la camper es preciosa!

Merci Nicolas pour cette aventure ! Ton combi est une véritable machine à remonter le temps ! Un road trip gravé dans nos mémoires ! Je n'ai qu'une envie, recommencer encore et encore ! Bientôt d'ailleurs 😉. Quand on se pose au volant, on sait déjà que l'on va prendre le temps de prendre le temps 😜 et c'est exactement ce que nous recherchions ! Increible escapa! Alquilamos a Vermouth para 4 días e hicimos Delta del Ebro + Peñíscola + Alcossebre (lugar de las fotos).
Tanto para mi pareja como para mí ha sido la mejor escapa que hemos hecho. La camper es antigua pero está muy muy bien cuidada. La gente se para a preguntarte por ella. A la que te acostumbras a conducirla es una auténtica gozada. Se duerme súper bien incluso en verano ya que la cama de arriba tiene ventanas con mosquiteras, así que corre el fresquito sin que entren insectos.
Muchas gracias a Nicolás por el buen trato tanto antes de la recogida del vehículo, como la rápida asistencia durante el viaje con preguntas que nos surgían. Además se encarga de dejarte la camper muy bien preparada y con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Para nosotros era nuestra primera camper y teníamos mil dudas, pero no nos ha faltado de nada y Nicolás nos ha ayudado con todo. Así da gusto!

Viajar con Ziggy ha sido toda una experiencia, un viaje en el tiempo. Pese a las evidentes limitaciones que puede tener un vehículo de época como el Lada, disfrutamos mucho durante los 10 días que duró nuestro viaje por Pirineos. Encontramos lugares muy chulos para dormir y nos adaptamos muy rápido al funcionamiento de la tienda de techo (muy cómoda e intuitiva) y del coche en general. Se nota que Nicolas cuida al máximo de sus vehículos y estuvo pendiente siempre que lo necesitamos. ¡Gracias por brindarnos esta experiencia!
