Nuno's Coachbuilt RV

Incredible experience with Nuno and his van. Nuno was very helpful before, during and at the end of our trip. He came pick us up at the airport and bring us back to the city center.

The van was in great condition and we didn't have any trouble during our trip.

I highly recommand Nuno and his van.

Nuno fue muy amable y estuvo siempre disponible para resolver cualquier inconveniente.

La furgoneta es muy cómoda y práctica, con mucho espacio y bien equipada. Tiene sus años pero está bien mantenida, pequeños detalles funcionales.

Everything worked out perfectly. Nuno is very friendly! We were picked up and taken back to the airport. 

The T4 is well equipped and we had everything on board for our unforgettable holiday. 

We are looking forward to our next vacation in Portugal with Nuno’s bus! Highly recommended!

Nuno did an amazing job at introducing the different features of the van. It is set up for a super confortable experience! The driving of the vehicle was surprisingly easier than expected given the size of the vehicle. We had a great experience overall and I strongly recommend Nuno and this vehicle :)

Nuno is always kind and willing to support in all cases.

The van was generally ok, there was a problem with the door lock, so we could only enter the van from the front doors and not the back one. But for sure Nuno will fix this for the next driver.

One day the engine of the van went off in the middle of the evening. Nuno told us that this can happen due to a structural issue of the engine and the solution was to open the windscreen and check a cable. The solution was not so complex, but we would have appreciated knowing about this in advance.

Lastly, the van has no airconditioning (as per description) and it was not easy to drive many hours with high temperatures.

Overall it was a nice experience but with some problems along the way due to the fact that the van is rather old. Nuno was always very kind and supportive anyway.

Estuvimos 13 días maravillosos recorriendo Portugal desde Lisboa hasta el parque nacional de Peneda-Geres. Unos viaje perfecto, gracias a la Camper de Nuno y a la acogida de Nuno (nos llevó y nos trajo del aeropuerto, nos explicó todo lo necesario para tener un viaje 10 con la Camper, súper amable) el viaje fue sobre ruedas (nunca mejor dicho;) ). Repetiría la experiencia sin dudar y  os lo recomiendo mucho. La furgo se lleva genial, es muy cómoda y se duerme como en casa en ella. Obrigado Nuno!! 

Tudo fluiu muito bem. Proprietário explicou tudo muito bem e a caravana portou-se lindamente na viagem. É uma caravana perfeita para um casal. Muito fácil de conduzir e de estacionar. Cama confortável, casa de banho bastante espaçosa para o tipo de caravana e a cozinha muito funcional. 

El viaje ha sido fantástico. Todos los problemas que nos surgieron, fueron resuletos fantasticamente por Nuno. Siempre disponible y atento. La primera noche tuvimos la gran mala suerte de que se estropeó la autocaravana y nos gestionó todo lo necesario para proveernos otra de mejores prestaciones. Él mismo se trasladó al lugar de la averia y nos llevó al parking de la caravana de repuesto para salir a la mañana siguiente. Nuno nos explicó perfectamente el funcionamiento de la autocaravana. Siempre atento y dispuesto a lo que necesitaramos durante nuestro trayecto. La autocaravana tiene todas las prestaciones necesarias para el viaje: sábanas, cojines, vajilla, productos de limpieza, mesas, sillas... En conclusión, tanto la caravana como Nuno cumplieron con nuestras expectativas. Totalmente reconmendable pese al inconveniente de la primera noche.

We had a great trip with Nunos blue VW bus, everything worked really well, the car is great, goes smoothly and also everything on the interior works well, we didnt have any problems at all and would rent again for sure! Nuno was also very helpful, he is a nice guy, picked us up at the airport and explained everything to us. Highly recommended!

Amazing converted van & superb communication and service from the owner. The van is super charmingly converted, with a very cosy (wood) interior and very efficient layout with shower/toilet and kitchen in the back, and a comforable couch in front. 2 beds for comfort but recommended for couples, probably not more than 3 people max. The van is very easy to drive (if you have no experience with campers), and can be driven and parked just fine in inner cities/villages. Powerful and efficient diesel motor is good for driving on the hilly roads. Communication with Nuno was very good and he was extremely helpful at all times. Total experience exceeded all expectations, would definitely book again!

Una experiencia maravillosa viajar en autocaravana !!!

1. Sientes una sensación de libertad increíble. Recomendable al 100%.
2. Con respecto a Nuno ,la persona que nos alquiló el vehículo , decir que nos atendió genial , muy amable siempre  y nos explicó todo el funcionamiento del vehículo a la perfección , además nos proveyó de todo lo que necesitamos. 

Tudo ocorreu conforme o combinado, tenho elogios a fazer ao proprietário de veículo. 

We hired this camper with a group of friends and had an absolute blast exploring the west coast of Portugal. The camper is great, everything works, it is economical, and comfortable. The owner is positive and extremely informative about everything you need to know to enjoy the camper even if it is your first time with such a rental. 

Hemos alquilado la autocaravana por una semana y quedamos encantados. Nuno nos ha explicado todo a la perfección y se mostró muy servicial. El vehículo es fácil de llevar y est muy completo. Lo hemos pasado muy bien, seguro que repetimos. Gracias Nuno.

Camping car tres fonctionnel et en bon état .

Tout etait bien agencé et le matériel (couverts, chaise et table ..) de bonne qualité.

Nous etions avec un bébé, Nuno nous a prêté un siège auto ce qui nous a simplifié le voyage.Nuno s'est aussi bien adapté à nos horaires et changement. 

Foi a nossa primeira experiencia, mas correu tudo tranquilo agradecemos ao Sr.Nuno as suas explicações e recomendações como a sua simpatia. A autocaravana é impecável com todo o conforto e muito espaço.

Férias em grande.....

A comunicação com o proprietário foi muito fácil e célere. Facultou-nos toda a informação necessária e atendeu a todos os nossos pedidos. Muito simpático e prestável.

A autocaravana estava em ótimas condições e incluía todo o material extra que pudessemos necessitar.

Recomendo vivamente.

Ideal para desfrutar das paisagens alentejanas em, família.

First time in campervan and it went great. Nuno gave invaluable advise on how to use everything and no hiccups.  I loved the freedom of parking wherever, whenever. We did part up and also campsites. Caramaps also incredibly useful.

Ma femme et moi avons fait un très agréable au centre du Portugal avec le petit camping-car bleu de Nuno. Nous avons vraiment apprécié d’être libre de dormir à des endroits très différents, en improvisant chaque soir.

La taille du fourgon permet de rouler partout, y compris sur les petites routes de montagne et on se gare assez facilement en ville.

La conduite était agréable, malgré les hoquets du moteur (probablement mal réglé). Le rétroviseur gauche ne pouvait pas être correctement réglé, ce qui était un peu dangereux en trafic chargé. Contrairement à la description sur le site, il n’y a pas de WC.

Pour la prise du véhicule, Nuno est très gentiment venu nous chercher à l’endroit où nous logions à Lisbonne et après le retour, son frère nous a ramené à l’aéroport, d’où on rejoint la ville très facilement en métro.

Malheureusement, il y a eu un désaccord au moment du remboursement de la caution. En plus d’un devis de carrosserie pour une éraflure que j’assume, Nuno a déduit le remplacement de la pochette de la portière droite qui était fendue. Je ne me considère pas responsable de ce problème, car je ne vois pas quand cela aurait pu avoir lieu. En fait, cela n’a été pas été vu au retour (état des lieux fait rapidement par le frère de Nuno), mais seulement sur des photos prises 3 semaines plus tard.

My wife and I made a very nice journey around the center part of Portugal with Nuno’s blue campervan. We really enjoyed the liberty of sleeping at very different places, improvising each day.

The size of the campervan is well adapted to all roads, including mountain little ones. Parking in towns is also not too complicated.

Driving was nice, in spite of the uncomfortable hiccups of the engine (probably not well tuned). I would also have felt more in security, if I could correctly orient the left rear-view mirror. Contrary to the description, there are no WC.

For the pick-up, Nuno very kindly came to get us at the place we stayed at in Lisbon and after the return, his brother brought us to the Airport, from where it was very easy to go back to the city.

Unfortunately, there was a disagreement concerning the refund of the deposit. In addition to a quotation for the repair of a scratch I take responsibility for, Nuno made a deduction concerning the replacement of the right front door pocket, because of a crack. I do not agree of being responsible for this damage, as I do not recall when it could have happened during my rental. It was not seen at the end of my rental (return done quickly with Nuno’s brother), but only on photos taken 3 weeks later.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour ce petit camping car avec lequel nous avons passé d excellentes vacances au Portugal.  Propriétaire et son frère très sympathiques. 

500 euros de caution non rendus après 2 mois de relances hebdomadaires! Sur des dommages remarqués après l'état des lieux de sortie! De plus, son van a été loué dans la foulée donc impossible de prouver que les dommages venaient de nous. Nuno est gentil et arageant mais attention cela cache peut être quelque chose, nous avons manqué de vigilence et il nous a frauduleusement amputé la moitié de notre caution. Nuno est un gentil voleur. Je le déconseille fortement!

Nuno es un anfitrion fantastico. Ha venido a buscarnos al aeropuerto y devolvernos al final. ha estado muy pendiente de todo.

La autocaravana cumple perfectamente con lo que pone. No es una autocaravana nueva, pero todo funciona bien. las camas son buenas y se duerme muy bien. La nevera funciona muy bien, ducha caliente perfecta.

Aconsejo mucho este alquiler para ir haciendo la costa oeste de este fabuloso pais.

Nosotros seguramente repetiremos!

L'accueil a été excellent : très sympathique et grande disponibilté.

Le van est conforme à ce qui est annoncé.

Seule petite chose à signaler : la literie est un peu dure (matelas de 2 cm d'épaisseur) et l'accès un peu acrobatique, il ne faut pas avoir de problème de dos ni de motricité.

Sinon nous avons été ravis de notre location et recommencerons sûrement pour explorer d'autres secteurs du Portugal !
