Vw t2 Pumpkin is eqquiped with two beds one inside another one on the roof the van have a solar painel, Fridge 220v , water tap, 20l water tank, inside you will find aswell a outside table with chairs and we provide bedding clothes pillows and basic things to prepare your meals. The van have a Powerstation to have 220v inside but is to strong for the painel solar and battery so we advise only to use when engine is working
The volkswagen t2 pumpkin, better known as Pão de Forma, is equipped with two beds, one inside and the other on the top of the roof, recommended only for children due to its size and weight capacity, equipped with a solar panel to assist in the charging the batteries that keep light one at night, it is also possible to use a Dometic 12l fridge that can be used by connecting the 220v current in campsites its use at 12v using the vehicle battery, is very limited due to the consumption as We have the solution with our power stations which it is possible to rent as a daily extra, having the possibility to connect from computers, drones, cell phones or other types of equipment, always having autonomy during the entire stay.
All the necessary cooking utensils are inside, plus outside gear portable gas stove with a gas bottle with autonomy of 1H/2H

Be a calm and respectful citizen, keep in mind an aggressive driving can jeopardize your rental and that the following persons, these classic vehicles are more fragile than today's cars, in which misuse can cause a breakdown.
Assistance is provided by one of our employees, if it is possible to carry out the repair on site, we will try to be as brief as possible. If this is not possible, the vehicle will be replaced.
Citizen card, driving license and credit card are required for a security deposit in the amount of €2000 or a cash deposit in the amount of €1000, both methods are returned after vehicle verification.
We deliver our vans 100% full and clean, to which on your return it is imperative that they are delivered at 50%, in the case of this model the Highway is not allowed, as is smoking inside.
Our Campers have third-party insurance as standard and only one driver for each rental, their navigation area has some restrictions, being only allowed in the demarcated area Algarve and Costa Vicentina.
What is not allowed to do with the van:
-Highway is prohibited (if there is use, the deposit amount may be charged)
-Leave the Algarve and Costa Vicentina area (in case of malfunction, we will be as soon as possible with the immobilized vehicle)
-Transporting another person outside the rental agreement
-Smoking inside

If you are unable to travel due to a force majeure, you can benefit from adapted cancellation conditions. They allow you to postpone your trip at no cost.
The amount of your cancelled booking will be transferred to a Rental Credit which will allow you to book the same vehicle (or another vehicle owned by this owner), for the dates of your choice.

Die Vermietung lief ohne Probleme ab. Wir wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt und konnten, nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt im Büro zum unterschreiben des Vertrages, das Auto begutachten und eine kurze Probefahrt machen. Anschließen wurde uns das Auto übergeben und wir konnten los. Der Vermieter war stets freundlich und hat alle Fragen geduldig beantwortet.
Das Auto selbst ist ein Traum. Es ist nicht unnötig ausgebaut und hat den Charme den man von einem alten Auto erwartet. Viele Möglichkeiten zum Verstauen von Gepäck bietet der Wagen nicht, mit etwas Kreativität konnten wir uns aber nach einem Tag schön einrichten. Die Austattung ist nicht wie in der Beschreibung. Das obere Bett funktioniert nicht gut und das Geschirr reicht nicht für 4 Leute. Für 2 Personen hat alles gepasst.
Das Fahren des Autos macht unendlich Spaß - aber aufgepasst, das Auto ist uralt und man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass Lenken, Schalten und Bremsen eben nicht so einfach ist. Beim Starten hatten wir öfters Probleme, nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vermieter wurde vermutet, dass die Batterie schwächelt. Wir konnten die Reise aber beenden, ohne diese Tauschen zu müssen. Am letzten Tag mussten wir uns dann aber doch noch Starthilfe besorgen. Uns hat das nicht weiter gestört, aber mit solchen Vorkommnissen sollte man bei so einem alten Auto schon rechnen.
In Summe hatten wir mit dem T1 einen wunderschönen abenteuerreichen Urlaub.

On est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport ce qui est très pratique
Nous sommes tombés sur un nouvel employé qui découvrait le véhicule en même temps que nous, il a fallu lui rappeler que nous avions besoin de draps. Certaines choses étaient cassée comme le toit ouvrant et la radio mais il ne savait pas nous dire pourquoi.
L’expérience était très fun mais le véhicule était assez vétuste pour la qualité annoncée dans l’annonce.

Great way to visit Algarve, it is a vintage car so don't expect a modern driving experience and a luxury trip but if you're up for an adventure, we couldn't recommend Pumpkin more!

We booked renault 4l for 4 nights trip around Algarve region. The service was outstanding. Car was ready with all needed for wild camping / kitchen appliances, tent and even owner provide for us blankets ( which we needed as we travelled around Portugal with just carry on backpacks). Car itself was really fun to drive. Car was reasonable maintained without any issues. During our experience we have only one problem with car ( rear door lock snapped and boot was stuck),but the owner responded really quickly and resolve the problems within few hours in the way that we did not have to alternate ours journey. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone who wants to experience adventure roadtrip in Algarve region, but understand that vintage car often needs patience.
