Sophie's Camper

Had a great time in Boonie. Sophie and Dan kept in touch with us and made everything easy when in came to pick up/drop off, highly recomend them both. 

Sophie and Dan were very friendly and helpful. We had a great experience with them. Regarding the van, it did exactly as it was supposed to do. Maintenance was up to date so we felt safe driving in it. If you're looking for a comfortable and clean campervan experience you may want to look elsewhere. But for a budget option it did the job. I think the overall experience would be better if the interior components, such as the drapes, and a few other items were cleaner, or swapped out. Other than that, great couple to rent from and a good budget option!

Renting Boony was a nice and smooth process, with Sophie and Dan being quick to respond and helpful whenever needed.

The van itself was a breeze to drive and handled surprisingly well when driving around twisty narrow back roads. With the insides being surprisingly spacious enough (even with the roof down) to sit inside when the weathers a bit too cold and chilly outside.

The only negative about the experience I could give, was that myself being 6ft+ didn't fully fit on the bed if laid out straight. Which is a very minor issue and not really a fault of the van.

Overall a great experience.

Trip was fantastic and the campervan was everything we needed it to be. Dan & Sophie were great and very helpful. Hopefully see you again soon. 

My first campervan trip ever. Boony has character and I found that friends enjoyed its quirks and character. She's an older van but everything works and is completely kitted out. The seats are so comfortable, the drive is automatic and the engine is still tip top. The owners maintain her well. Cooker, fridge and sink all in working order and the blackouts are electric with some curtains. Comfortable bed with spot lights and running all electric makes everything just work like home. I even took a filter coffee machine and my work laptops and full power chargers. All good. Expect character and charm and comfort. Enough to draw people away from the T5s. Quite unique. Great value. 

Booney is a great van to hire. Compact so not scary to drive but big enough to have everything you need.  Dan and Sophie couldn't be more helpful, giving a comprehensive tour of the van and providing far more than I'd expected as standard. I would happily hire Booney again

The whole experience of hiring Boony the Bongo was brilliant - from the ease of booking to great communication with the owners Sophie and Dan, to our actual stay which was perfect!

We had a great long-weekend in this lovely little van. It was a special birthday for my partner and it exceeded our expecations. The van is a little chilly at night but the bed is very comfortable and everything you need is provided. We would definitely do this again and Sophie and Dan made sure everything was really clear and easy to use. They were very accommodating and flexible on pick up and drop off which was particularly helpful.

Boony the campervan was great to drive and made a lovely "home" for me and my son whilst away on holiday. Sophie and Dan were very friendly and helpful, their communication easy and prompt. 2 adults, 2 kids and 4 bikes - all managed to fit in. This is a campervan with a character and people will greet you at the campsites and gas stations. The owners were MOST helpful and responsive before, during and after the trip.

Boony fue nuestra mejor experiencia en el Reino Unido. Junto con mi pareja tuvimos un viaje increíble de 14 días por Inglaterra, Gales, Escocia e Irlanda. El van se comportó excelente, muy comoda para cocinar, para dormir y para manejar. Sophie y Dan muy amigables, nos ayudaron en todo momento con nuestras dudas y se mantuvieron siempre en contacto via whatsapp.

 Estamos muy felices y recomendamos esta camper a futuros viajeros!

Boony was our best experience in UK. With my partner we had an incredible 14 days trip through England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The van is very comfortable for cooking, sleeping and driving. Sophie and Dan are very friendly. They helped us at all times and remained in touch via whatsapp.

We are very happy and we recommend this camper to future travelers!

My son and I loved Boony and had an excellent time staying in her and driving around. She was much easier to drive than I expected and really comfortable to sleep in. Dan and Sophie were a delight to deal with and had kitted Boony out well, so we just needed to bring our clothes and bedding. I would love to hire Boony again. 

Excellent rental experience. The van was a pleasure to drive, really comfy and exactly as described. Communication with the owners was great, they responded quickly and made the whole process very easy. We are keen to hire again in the summer and would highly recommend to others. 

We absolutely loved our surfing weekend away in Boony! Super impressed with how high tech she is and loved the power steering. Sophie and Dan were brilliant with communication and made it a smooth and easy process. Deposit process also very straight forward. Thank you 🙂 x
